Scoutly is built for robotics teams. We collect only the information needed to run the app, support optional account features, sync user-entered scouting data when those features are used, troubleshoot issues, and keep the service reliable.

Information We Collect

• Account details such as name, email address, team affiliation, and beta access status if you create or use an account.
• Content you enter, such as watchlists, notes, team setup, event planning data, and saved preferences.
• Basic device, diagnostic, crash, and usage information used to keep the app stable and secure.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide Scoutly, remember your settings, sync optional data, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and understand which workflows need improvement.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may use trusted service providers for hosting, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, email, and support. They may process information only as needed to provide those services.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide Scoutly, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and support backups. You can request deletion at any time.

Children

Scoutly may be used by student robotics teams with adult mentors. Teams should follow school, parent, and organization rules before entering personal information. If a parent, guardian, school, or mentor needs help with a student privacy request, contact us.
